The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a piece of legislation passed to strengthen and ensure the data protection laws of individuals living in the EU. This came into effect on May 25, 2018. Mimzy.App is committed to comply with all regulations laid down in the GDPR.
Who Does GDPR apply to?
The GDPR law applies to all service providers and organizations that process the “personal data” of EU citizens, regardless of the fact that the company has physical presence in the EU or not. Personal information may include name, email address, credit card number etc.
How does the GDPR apply to Mimzy.App and its users?
Mimzy.App is a Google Sheets application that allows its users to edit, manage, and save user-generated content within their individual Google Sheets Client File. This content might contain the user’s personal information if they choose to share it. Hence the GDPR applies to both Mimzy.App and its user in different capacities.
The GDPR recognizes the organizations as “data processors” and clients as “Data controllers.” The customers use the content that they process through Mimzy.App (e.g. Mimzy.App account management and Google Sheets).

As a company Mimzy.App ensures privacy protection practices throughout the company. We continuously improve and update the changes with services we integrate with. Our team members are given privacy and security training.

How to Enter into a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) with Mimzy.App?
Mimzy.App offers a GDPR Data Processing Addendum to aid you or your organization in the compliance process. Simply request a DPA by sending us an email with your organization name and plan details to ppa.y1728105510zmim@1728105510tcatn1728105510oc1728105510 Once you receive the DPA, sign and return us a copy to be added to your existing Mimzy.App agreement.
What personal data is held by Mimzy.App?
Records necessary to provide you with our products and services.
Your account with Mimzy.App, such information stored includes:
Your name, email address, billing address, IP address for transactional purchases as well as marketing/re-marketing purposes, payment method information, account username, account password (which is encrypted), licensing assigned to you, any Support threads you’ve opened, purchase emails, Support emails you’ve initiated, and transactional records.
Your account with Google and the Google Sheets app:
Mimzy is not responsible nor liable for information collected by third parties, including Google through your usage of your own personal Google account and usage of the Google Sheets app while using your assigned Mimzy Client File.
How can I exercise my GDPR rights, such as requesting my data to be deleted?

Note: when requesting your data to be deleted, we will not respond beyond an acknowledgement of your request as once completed, all records will be removed from our system(s).
